And so it begins!
Just like last year, results from showdowns will be posted
here on my blog along with nearly ten years worth of album reviews and music-related
posts over there on the right. The new,
and most exciting, addition this year is the inclusion of the Viewer’s Choice
results. In this particular instance, my
results align pretty closely with those of my viewers, the only divergence being
in the fourth showdown between Gruff Rhys and Aiming for Enrike. I totally get this – Seeking New Gods is a
really incredible album that stands up very well under close scrutiny. Empty Airports tickles my inner 80s era King
Crimson fan a little too much for me to pass up, though.
